Second Grade

In 2^nd grade, we learn about communities that influence our lives each day. We include different communities we are a part of into each project. Although we use similar mediums and continue to build on foundations as in the years prior, I also introduced new materials this year, such as sewing with plastic needles and yarn! Students are encouraged to explore different avenues to get the results they have in mind. Students are also heavily encouraged to communicate and problem solve with peers to emphasize teamwork and critical thinking.
