First Grade

In 1^st grade, we emphasize similarities and differences within each other and our families while continuing to explore different mediums of art. I reintroduce each medium from kindergarten to give new opportunities for building techniques, and I continue to build on our art history knowledge! As we build on our foundations for each medium, we relate our artwork to the people we spend most of our time with. We share memories, chores, routines, cultures, traditions, and more as we create! Each work of art has a bit of home sprinkled in!
